What is Drift?
You drift into the current and land live with someone you don’t know — camera to camera, about three minutes. Afterwards you each decide on your own: drop anchor or drift on. Only if you both anchor do you follow each other and can write; neither learns how the other decided. Drifting on is always possible and never costs anything. Seven encounters a day are free, after that you lift the limit once for 36 Bao. Drift is 18+ and no place for nudity; reporting takes one tap, and whoever you report you never meet again.
What is Bao?
You buy Bao with money and gift it to creators during their Drops or in a Surge. At the creator it becomes Glow. With Bao you also buy packs, Sticker packs and music. Bao never becomes Chai.
What is Glow?
Glow is the creator balance, fixed at €0.01. From a gift the creator receives 40 %; from something they made themselves — a Sticker pack or a music track — it is 55 %. As the sender you also get 5 % of a gift back as Glow.
When can I convert Glow into euros?
From €42, through Trolley, our conversion partner. For founders the threshold is €20, in South-East Asia €18. There is no payout fee, in any tier. JingJing itself is neither a bank nor a payment provider.
How do I become a creator?
You are one the moment you go live — there are no separate accounts for watching and broadcasting, only the context. Before launch we are collecting waitlist sign-ups; enter your address and confirm your email.
What is Surge?
Two creators go live against each other, split screen, and their communities decide. The pot is shared, not winner-takes-all: the winner gets the larger part, the loser does not walk away empty. Watching is free; sending big gifts or using the tactics backpack costs a one-off 88 Bao entry, 46 with the Masterplan.
What is Khumsap?
A Bao treasure for everyone in the room. Someone fills a pot, and after a short countdown each person present grabs a random share once. Opening is always free — you can walk away with nothing, but you can never lose anything. The shell takes one tap; the amphora asks for an action first.
Can I make my own music?
Yes, in the studio. You describe how it should sound, with or without vocals, and you either write the lyrics yourself or leave them to the AI. One generation costs 214 Bao, and the track is yours afterwards. You can sell it at 148, 296 or 592 Bao and receive 55 % as Glow — or offer it to JingJing Radio, where it plays free for everyone under your name.
What is The Reef?
Your place for items: the shop, your collection, and The Tide, the market where users trade with each other. There you pay with Chai, which you earn through activity and cannot buy.
How does the feed work?
The rules are written out in full in the Masterplan, publicly. Every fourth slot belongs to the smallest creators, reach cannot be bought, and ads occupy their own labelled slots — they never buy organic ranking.
Is there a JingJing app?
Not yet — we are working on it. The app for iPhone and Android arrives with the launch; until then everything runs in the browser.
